At a poetry reading of her poems sponsored by the Friends of the Library on October 24th, by proclamation of the Board of Trustees,
Laurie Byro was named the Poet
Laureate of the Borough of Allendale.
There will be a 2nd and 3rd grade book club and a 4th and 5th grade club.

NEXT LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETING -- NOVEMBER 19TH
The next monthly meeting of the Library's Board of Trustees will be held on Thursday, November 19th at 7:00 PM.
Members of the public are invited to attend.
FREE MUSEUM PASSES AVAILABLE AT THE LIBRARY
Through a generous donation by the Friends of the Library, Allendale residents may borrow a family pass for FREE
general admission to the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. The pass grants admission
for 2 adults and up to 4 children (ages 2-12). A $40 deposit is
required to borrow the pass, which is refunded when the pass is returned on time.
