| Friends of the Library The Friends of the Library is a non-profit service organization committed to the support of the Lee Memorial Library. The Friends conduct an annual fund drive and extensive book sales semi-annually. In addition, they hold a year round on-going book sale in the lobby of the Library (see below). Proceeds from these activities go directly to the Library to purchase new materials. The Friends generally meet the first Monday of each month (except July and August) at 10:00 AM at the Library. The next meeting will be on Monday, January 5th. Members of the Executive Committee of the Friends are Dorothy Ade, Anna DiMiceli, Sheila Granowitz, Diane Mahuske, Louise Oates, Laura Polombo and Barbara Schlactus. Social functions are held throughout the year. New members of the Friends of the Library are welcome. To become a member, contact Diane Mahuske at 201-825-0088. Annual dues are $10.00 ($5.00 for seniors). Continuing Book Sale The Friends of the Library have an ongoing book sale in the entrance lobby of the Library. Prices are: $1.00/ hardcover; $0.50/ paperback (or 3-for-$1.00); $0.25/ children's book. Donations to the sale are welcome and may be left in the lobby under the card catalog desk by the entrance. Please be considerate and follow these guidelines when donating books. We can use:
